One week and counting...

So, our departure is now just seven days away. Where have these last few months gone? I am both excited and nervous about this inevitable adventure. Just last week we were given the glimpse of our itinerary and it looks amazing! Although mystery shrouds the details, it is clear that our days will be full of adventure as we (the team) grow both professionally and personally in this foreign land.

    Hello Melinda. I just happened upon your groups blog pages for your impending trip. Have a great time in Chile! My son, Erik, 17, has been living and going to high school in Santiago since August 2008. He is sponsored through the local Rotary club here in Prineville, Oregon.     If you come across him at one of the District 4340 meetings, give him a hard time and tell him to relish the rest of the time he has left in Chile (and to update his blog!).

    Have a great trip and experience in Chile. Erik certainly has.

    How cool for your son. I hope we'll run into each other and I'll definitely give him a hard time for you. ;) We fly tomorrow and I'm a bit nervous of the unknown, but like your comments, I have heard nothing but wonderful things about this skinny South American place.
